Why October is Really Scary

I have an Ironman Calendar hanging on my wall at work. Each month brings a new inspirational photo from the sport of triathlon. This month it's Faris al-Sultan. 'nuf said.

UPDATE: After reading the first comment, I realize I may been too subtle. Although Faris al-Sultan is a fine triathlete, I do NOT find this to be an inspiring photograph. Hence the strategically placed post-it.

Back in the late 80s that’s all it was available I did all my races with Speedos... without any pads... If you can do an Ironman wearing a Speedo you're a real man!!! If you win the world title then you’re a super man…. Get over, got something to hide?

a real man is a man that don't whine about getting his butt kicked in Kona (Faris whining about Macca drafting). Faris should talk to Lance, he might learn a thing or two about tactics and being smart. Nobody calls Lance a cheat, but he spent 99.9% of his riding time in all the TdF's behind his team, still, he is the gratest TdF rider ever. Go figure!

Guess who?

I guess I'm offially rooting for Macca this year. Yea, he's a bit brash for a pro - us age groupers can sling all the smack we want to - but...hey, is just me, or does the Normanator have an exceptionaly huge melon for his body? It's like Sputnik. It's got it's own solar system....

Yes, it is Macca year. Macca is on a new bitching bike and he has paid his dues now. Norman did also pay but that Kuota bike is no good. It is all about the bike (brand). Nothing else matters. We just need Fabian Cancellara on his Cervelo P3C to take some swimming lessons and do a little running and Cervelo will be the new Kona champ.

Guess who is one of the Axel's that don't ride that slow Kuota.
