Tattoo Tuesday

Tomorrow I'm getting my tattoo during lunch. I still don't have the final design. I sent my tattoo guy the original M-Dot-Whale logo and told him about some minor changes I wanted to make. He came back with a HIDEOUSLY drawn whale which made me very nervous about the whole thing. We emailed back and forth, and basically I'm going to make my own changes and he will transfer it to my leg.

The whole process seems frought with peril to me.

whale M-dot? Why not make an orca with a white M-dot logo where its eye white spot would be?

"frought with peril" and you are still going? I hope his inking skills are better than his drawing skills!

Don't worry - the pain only lasts a little while - although the results are there forever!

I hope his inking skills are better than your spelling skills!

(That's "fraught.")

Oh, I am jealous on so many levels. Mostly of your right to the tattoo though. Maybe someday...

Anyway, don't they put the outline on your skin so you can approve it before they actually do the tattoo? Whatever you do, DO NOT go forward if you are not 100% confident at that point that you will get something reasonably close to what you want. You have the right, the responsibility to call it off. Tell him you got cold feet and need to think about it some more. Just high tail it out of there (no pun intended) and wait until it's right.

Have fun!

I am still thinking about a tattoo. I am still pretty afraid of what Mommy will think. That sounds pretty lame. LOL. I am now thinking maybe this winter. I will get a small m-dot, about the size of a silver dollar.

Can't wait to see your new one. Check out Spokane Al's. It looks awesome.

No worries Pajaro!! You'll do great but, I do totally agree with Michelle, if he doesn't draw it exactly how you want it, mosey on out of there :)
